One of the things that attracted me to the 2018 14x26 Maliko was the stability. It was pretty much the same stability as my 14x26 SIC RS, except maybe at certain angles against wind and chop (i noticed a strange wobble moment when quartering waves on the 14x28 2018 Maliko as well - maybe the fin position?). How does the 2020 Maliko fare, compared to that model?
I cannot say yet in bigger conditions, but under 20 knots even in confused water cross-chop, tide current, river current, wind, it is as stable or more stable than the previous Maliko. The tail seems to be less sensitive to push from behind when the bumps are stronger than the wind or the board is somewhat stalling.
