how was the tally bar, did you wait for a lull or paddle straight out? i,m a bit freaked about copping a wave smack over the middle of the board and creasing it. probably worrying to much i guess, but i,ve copped a few hammers surfing sups there
cheers

it was ok , apart from the wind ,it was only 1ft , i would hope these boards could handle that , i wouldnt try to attempt antything sizeable though.I Caught a Nice 3ft wave on it on saturday though ,and made sure i pulled off before it really pitched. You wouldnt think a board that size would be so much fun catching small waves.

gee i had to paddle seawards a couple of times to get over some sets when paddling to tally when i was out. yeah i caught a wave in and almost did a gentle floater. could be fun on small days i reckon, but you would have to put the brakes on if it got nasty inside.
