Pretty sure you have to have SWA membership. BTW Radman just in case we have the next swell of the decade can you let everyone know the comp is booked in and we are coming regardless of swell size and that SWA choose the location and it's kinda hard for us to piss off because a lot of us have driven from Perth

Shud be all ok there's only of couple of serial pests in the water its on land you have to be careful pays not to roam the streets after dark party people stay safe

SUPWA - when is the surfing scheduled for? Is there a chance it may be on the weekend rather than the Thursday/Friday? Also how come the open surf (and hence under 40's division!) is $110 but the other divisions are half the price??

Dont be fooled into thinking the Open is U40s Rob. Those pesky old boys can enter O40 and Open yet us young pups can only enter Opens or 'elite' division.

Hi Rob

Just to confirm this is a Surfing WA event, SUPWA has been liasing with SWA to put this event together, the surfing is scheduled for the Thurs and Fri with the racing on the Saturday, presos Sat night and everyone can get together Sunday free surf etc and dordle home.

You should still come up on Friday Arvo Rob, some BOP racing on Sat Morning and Marathon Sat arvo, then a few beers Sat night, you will get a couple of surfs in and have some fun.

Looks like some good conditions for swell and offshores Sun, Mon, Tues and then heading onshore later in the week. Hope the comp hasn't missed out on great waves by a couple of days. Looks like plenty of swell so hopefully the wind will cooperate for both surf and DW events. Starting to get my froth beard happening can't wait.....

Is anyone looking at going up just for the racing? I am thinking of leaving early Saturday morning and coming back after prize giving. I cant get time off work and need to be home Sunday morning.. Would be a mission but am super keen to do this race!
