Same with back damage wa41 but I had it pretty sorted. Started this Pilates gig for other injuries, but thought I would get my monies worth with some back specific exercises. Was popping up unreal today. I know about the toe drag thing though,I tend to do it now more near the end of a session when I'm tired

42 today

Yep, defo gets worse toward the end of a session

Happy b'day,,,

Oh yeah re the pop up I'm finding my arms are getting tired after paddling back out specially if getting flogged so pop slowed due to arm fatigue not core strength. Tend to need a short rest once back out

T-dog bursitis is eeasy to sort.
Today we had the most perfect and mirror glass 2ft plus waves and I surfed like taj
I'm with tux a bit regarding boards etc,but everything else is farked
eg was being taught some new core exercises from my physio(Pilates) the next two days it hurt to move, but we have had super fun Surf, so I went determined. Well after so many hours surfing with this pain I have no skin left on my left knee. On popping up bbecause my core was so weak I was dragging my knee, hence blowing so many waves. So age and injury does suck, and.does effect how well you Surf.
I wish I started this Pilates gig earlier as I think I would be
Near indestructible.
Swell pulse tonight and tomorrow will be sick as bro

Stoked you had a good session - yep newer designs are helping and like Ted, it makes surfing the small stuff a lot more fun these days.
Yep, pilates is shi1t, been doing it for about 2 years now and it's pretty well sorted by bulging disc, and also for me too, that dragging toe. Just need to get some more water time, but that will change soon enough as the little groms get older (5 & 7 now).

45, 85-88 kg.
6'3"x 21 x 2 5/8" Firewire el fuego (hybrid fish)
9'1" x 22 3/4 x 2 7/8

Sorry didn't communicate that to well. Already aware what your riding. Been lurking.
I picked up 6'6" x 22" x 2 3/4" SDR monkey chop yesterday. Impulse purchase. Bigger than current shorties. Smaller than mal.

Ted don't want to put you of your food. I had a windsurfing accident at shoal bay in Auckland in 89. Been suffering ever since.
When we gunna win that cup !!!!!! I reckon another day or two.
