Where did FS thread go with the lb for sale...

Are you high bidder still Ted, I thought you might like it when I saw it, nice looking little board, cheap as 2

Yeah I saw that the thread had vanished.....not sure why? Sure he was advertising but at least he had paid his $14 to Laurie - unlike others

Yeah I have wanted one of Ron's boards for a while.....If I can get it for a reasonable amount I will stay in it.....I have set a max bid so we shall see. Its the thing I hate about ebay the most - having to wait!!! Sometimes you just want to hit a buy it now price!

Shame abt the w/e for you.....I stayed in Dee Why Sat night and when I got home on Sunday late morning could get over how much bigger it was at home than down that way. The swell was just marching straight in. So was the crowd though with only one decent bank at the beach with the surfclub. I hit the water at 5:25 on Sat morning whilst still a bit dark.....had a few rippers - lots of fun. Need to get you down for some waves soon.

Good luck, it's a sweet looking little board, I would have considered it myself if I hadn't of got a new one the other week, nice and easy for you to pick it up too.

And good stuff doggie, nothing better than a new board you like instantly.

Couldnt take any more was too windy, damn thing nearly got blown across the water, but a good catch by me averted any dings .

Snapped this one quickly on my phone, it is a crappy photo and wedged against the log so it didnt blow away.

I will get some more later.

That stringer is funky looking, looks great

Got my new one on Friday

What is that??? . Dims, maker etc... Looks nice..

Have you ridden it? Did you leave the nub fin in?

Yeah the stringer is a bit different, has a green coloured foam in the middle.

Its a Colin Earle, a local shaper just up the road from me, bloody nice bloke.

I rate this board as one of the best shorties Ive had so far for general surfing. I rode it on the weekend at two different beachies and it just went so well I was grinning like an idiot for hours afterwards. The best quad Ive had so far. Its 6,2 1/2 x 19 1/4 x 2 5/16 and yea I left the knubster in, I will need to try it with it out but it was a bit over head so the stability was nice

Nice boards the both of them. Is that a 1/4 inch balsa stringer in the fish ?

Thanks SMH.

Not sure if its balsa, but the stringer is called a foam insert stringer. Hadn't heard of them till I saw it on this one.

It's two stringer with a bit of foam between the two, the foam through the middle is a different colour, it is a green coloured foam On mine.

Those boxes SP look similar to boxes I had I'm my last quad. The fins could be shifted about 1/4' up or down the box.

I had them in my FireWire Taj and Im not a fan, I felt they were too soft as far as the plastic they are made of, I stripped two of the screw holes. I fixed them but I wasnt happy about it

Mine were OK but maybe time will tell. They might be a different brand.
Mine were Soar.

Mine were FCS

I like the normal FCS plus tbh, they tend to last for ages and if one stuffs up it dosnt affect the other one unlike the fusion plugs.
The Soar gear is top quality, I had their fixed fins in one of my boards and they felt great

Haven't looked to be honest, the fins were in it, I'll check that out later.
