Thanks to everyone who participated in this caption comp. My family laughed and laughed at all the posts -including the baby, who helped judge the winners.
and now for the winners...
The award for creativity and lateral thinking goes to NotWal for Oscar the ventriloquist cursed himself for his impetuosity. He had the Centrelink staff fooled until his "new baby" said "See what stimulating the private sector leads to". The child endowment cheque never arrived.
The award for keen powers of observation and deductive reasoning goes to MikeyS for correctly working out my family tree: And if you call my mum "son" again, I'll really biff you.
There were two entries neck and neck for the overall winner in terms of voting... Mark _australia's Hey dudes, check out my rad hi-dangle-with-board-twisty move
and Bondalucci's I said "Get me someone with some goddam boobies."
Bondalucci almost threw away any chance of winning by insulting my next of kin with: A Look At Life, ..... (at the shallow end of the gene pool)
but since I hold no grudges, I decided to award the prize to Bondalucci because his entry made me laugh and laugh.
...and as for the gene pool comment, -In the words of Maxwell Smart... "Sorry about that Chief!!" (you can take comfort in the fact that no one green thumbed it)
