hey Dan... don't worry... same here, sat in the office waiting for bloddy UPS to show up. In the end should have gone to Coogee or Bronte... Coogee had a nice wave rolling in between wedding cake and the headland... Bronte was breaking right across to Tamarama. Wind had turned more easterly as well and was actually getting into the beach.

Bay Surf went off biggest ive ever sailed it, wind was gusty as sh$t though and I nearly got run down by the sand dredge boat when the wind turned off.

How come nobody ever sails Bay Surf, probly south sydneys only decent down the line wave in a southerly when its big?

you forget about the bra, down the line in a southerly or bare island if its got a bit of west in it and your feeling suicidal. two of the heaviest waves Ive sailed. Im sure bay surfs good, alittle too far for me to drive.

Could Krusty or someone else please enlighten me....

Where is Bay Surf?

Sounds like it could be a good spot for today.

Thanks

Its the port hacking river mouth, works only when the surf is big. Wind is best in SE as it is cleaner, but wave riding is better in s or sw only problem its incredibly gusty when it goes s or sw but can get some great rides!

Dan its only 5 mins from wanda and you sail there all the bloody time.

Ah, thanks for that. I know the spot but have never sailed there.

Can you suggest a good parking spot with a Google Map link or similar.

The kick was the best I have ever sailed it. Only problem was getting back out from the beach after not being able to get of a killer set wave...
