Booster Pipes- Interesting idea Applied on the boards to "Boost" sales and to cover a speculative idea?

"How much air does it take to move the surface of water flowing at >50kph? significantly" Answers the first question.

angling the rear of the board down slightly, even a couple of mil causes a phenomenon called "going to china"
and we would all like to avoid that one.
i think most would agree!

I like that one Greenfuhrer.

But the most important point here is that if you are going fast you need your mates to see you going fast, otherwise where's the bragging rights..
and if you have mates watching then you need to look cool to keep their attention, so.

I rekun the Missile 2 is definately the coolest looking board so that's why the air ducts work.

Quantum fisiks at it's primal point of singularity.

I have yet to be passed by a teabagger and no decent windsurfer ever will be, to say a kite will ever get close to the world record held by a windsurfer seems to indicate too many dunkings resulting in a kind of hallucinatory euphoria - could be swallowing too much green algae - come on teabaggers get real! Competitions in Europe usually stagger the starts to get the teabags out of the way so they don't hinder the real sailors, and so it should be..and ever more will be so.

Bout time for speed windsurfing to make a quantum leap to put the kites back in their box?
When I saw the Macquarie Endeavor in the dunes at Sandy I was startled by the size of it. But it makes sense- saloon racers reckon that a good big one will always beat a good little one.
Why does it take a corpulent sailor to hold down a big sail?
Ice racers in Finland make their bodies into the leading edge of their sail and have one meter stilts above their skates to get them up into the wind.
There is no need for a record breaker to be able to turn or sail back to the start of the speed course.

The speed you want maybe proportionate to the money you invest.

And the moment we head into the assymetrical speed kit, we are into $.
Then we may see luff pockets around a third chord length, single sided booms, offset assymetric fins, body aero kits, etc.

And a huge number of prototypes.

Watching the Maquarie innovation do runs is a lesson in patience, and noting how much time it takes to put in one 30sec run.
plus stopping all other craft 5- 10 mins before, then having a huge wind spoiler slowly moving back down the speed course for the rest of the time.

I think we still need to keep fun in the windsurfing speed results.

Well, manufacturers wth a lot to lose had better get their fingers out and start sponsering somebody brave enough to drive a hydrofoil sailboard like a bat out of hell.
Moth World Champion is on a foil.
Where is that pic of happy Hawaaians with foils instead of fins?
