Everyone will push their own flavour in sails, I prefer a few cams just for that extra stability and they generally are sized a little bit bigger than camless sails. So based on what i've seen & design briefs in order of suitability-

Designed for bottom end-
Neilpryde Helium
Naish Indy
Gaastra Plasma

Good bottom end freeride-
Gaastra Swift
North S-Type (can rig on 460 with extender)
Neilpryde H2
Ezzy Infinity (good grunt, but a little heavy)

Then to little bit more racier stuff-
Naish Grand Prix (good bottom end for freerace)
Mauisails TitanGS
KA Koncept (just beware of Gestie rubbing up against your sail [}:)])
Loft switchblade

Gestalt, no I do not have a NP mast. my mast is a loft 460. What I like with the sail is that it rigs on a 460 mast instead of me having to buy a longer mast aswell besides all the other gear. What other sails would be recommendable?
and to buster anything that gets me out on the water will do even in 10 kts. as long as there is a glimmer of hope I'll try it

usually np sails work best with neilpryde masts. your loft mast would suit sails with constant curve specified which is not neil pryde.

sails like Loft or KA or ezzy for eg are constant curve and KA for eg is sympethetic to slightly different bend curves. there are others also.

i'm not too sure about 8.5m sails that rig on 460 masts. you would need to look around. i think severne have a lightwind sail similar to the helium that riggs on a 460... i didn't google it so not sure and not sure on mast compatibility either. i'm sure an email to severne would get the facts.

i have also read on the KA forums that people are using mast tip extenders on the bigger koncepts successfully. i would assume that other sails will work also but you'd need to look into it.

certainly though you may need a longer mast in the long run. especially if you go to a 9m or up.
