In Ballina apparently...

Maybe we should get Dubya to launch an offensive against this region, we can claim that it is harboring "Wind Terrorists" who want to take over the world by stealing all the wind. He can look for "Weapons of Mass Wind Suction", and kidnap anyone who looks like they might be hiding a couple of knots in their turban...

*sigh* Yes I know how you feel Shimmy, new gear + no wind = massive frustration!

Statistics vs old timer experience: this page says the best winds are in Aug/Sep:

shimmy. My partner and I know you from sailing at the train. You had a friend looking for gear. I'm selling my board and also HPL boom. He may be interested? I've posted it on this site under Board Minded. Thanks Lisa.

Give Wello a shot tomorrow mate! Excellent tide, and BOM predict "NW/NE winds 15/20 knots increasing to 20/25 knots during the afternoon" so it's perfect! Expect numerous windusrfers and kiters there tomorrow...

These wind's aren't meant to be missed
