Few of hours either side of Hightide n theres barely ANY water to sail.
My Prediction- its going to silt up n Close off from that Northern sandbank all the way to Tripcony/Bulcock/ Happy Valley.
No Caloundra Bar.

Had a chat with AusMoz, decideds w probably best to save my fuel. Sounds a bit dangerous. Should be better sailing local.

Like i said its sketchy even in a 12ft tinny.
Plenty of obstacles to dodge threading thru the myriad of < 2ft deep channels.

Believe me, avoid hitting bottom at speed it makes a mess of your body..

Could send Gav out to test the water

Not if you're a lightweight .. I've never broken gear but maybe that's bad as your body takes the brunt??
