Updated 12.06.10 Hope I haven't missed anyone. 2010 PBs in bold [If you see an error just post in this forum]

PS - I've included Gaz's Darwin PB as I reckon NT can be counted as an extension of QLD waters.

I didn't think there were that many windsurfers in Qld.
Not a bad roll call.
Did Gaz have a crocodile after him ?

He just thinks its crocs, but they're usually coral reefs that grab him.

ps Nice work snags.

Haircut he did that on loft, not far off though & especially impressive for the 1st use and it's a freerace sail at that. Top 10 is pretty much dominated by loft & pryde though.

when some slacker stops bloody working huh odin

yer who made it a 2sec thing, why didn't ya pick 5x10 snags- no chance of errors then.

Haircut if you'd like to amend the table for his pryde's he'd be third on 41.44.

nope aim is to get more than 1 sailor per class

hmm there are plenty of sponsored/team/ex-team riders in that top 10... wonder why there are no koncepts there

no doubt mate, it's just ya don't really see any of those guys promoting gear every second post... but ok i'll take the chance

Pryde- pedigree goes unsaid (for some reason everytime I use pryde's it's like returning home... it just works)
Loft- multiple speed and slalom wins
Mauisails- multiple speed and slalom wins (I wish my 5.1 TR4 would bring me 50knots like MVM, though it'd just be nice to get to use it )
Naish- multiple speed (& a few slalom) wins
Gaastra- multiple slalom and national speed wins (my gaastra gtx race is quite possibly one of the nicest sails i've ever used, and surprised me with how quick and easy to sail it is for a big sail).

They've all got the runs on the board, almost all sails are fast when tuned properly but top speed isn't everything. There are 10 sailors wanting something more/different, it's up to KA to figure out what that is (I would love to see aussie product become one of the top brands).

9... I don't have to speak for them, as I pointed out- that there are none speaks for itself.

Personally I couldn't give a toss about most brands and I dont want to brand bash. I do speak to quite a few of those other guys and I know they have similar thoughts regarding gear. Maybe if you ask those guys who, with respect have the runs on the board why they choose what they have, then maybe you could have got into gps a bit more and be up there too.

When I said top speed isnt everything that is because almost all sails are capable of going fast. It's how they get there, how they work in variety of conditions, feel, look when rigged, cost, resale, longevity, availability, sizing... all just as important.
