1/ Sailing on West Lakes.
West Lakes is a gusty swamp that increases your difficulty 3-fold. Somewhere like Seacliff, near the yacht club is much better. (That's where I used to do 90% of my lessons).

I would hop on, up haul/rope gybe, point the board 45 degrees from the wind, get my balance sorted out, put my weight as far back as I could, and sheet into
wind.
Drop into the shop sometime and I'll have you up and flying in no time!
