Ezzy Sails said...
No Ezzy Mast warranty claim has ever been rejected due to sailing location or situation i.e. Margaret River, Gnaraloo, shore break etc, etc

Mark, I've had a bad run of masts breakages recently (not Ezzy) which have not been warrantied due to breaking in the surf.

Am I right to say that if I buy an Ezzy mast and I snap it in the first (or second?) year due to wave riding, you will replace it? That seems a great deal.

I always thought it was only replaced due to manufacturing problems...

Thanks

Hey Ben,

Are you using the same mast brand as the sail brand you use??
If so i had terrible experiences with thier rdm mast in waves snapped top and bottom half in the same incident in a two foot wipe out. i then PURCHASED (as not covered by warranty) a new one and it split up the length of the mast where the extension goes in on the first sail.
will not mention the brand but was highly unimpressed.

i recommend using ANY other brand. Hot sails australia have very reasonably priced mast that look to have a similar bend curve to your sails. your free to give mine a go next time.
