well we got a great turn out on a not so great looking forecast
but the skies cleared around lunch time and the wind came in and everything was looking great for some afternoon racing
however as we approached start time the clouds re appeared and the wind began to fade
never the less we started one race with everyone slightly confused (i probably had a hand in that

) i got a fantastic pin end start at full speed and hit the line on the gun, i looked back to see most not planing, i managed to plane for the whole of the first half of that upwind leg but then the wind faded just that little bit more and i was on and off the plane with everyone else (except for darryl who had wisely chosen the long board option pre race)
slowly the fleet made it through 2 upwinds and one downwind before the conditions got the better of us
thanks for the great turnout guys, a fleet of 9 was fantastic
and thanks to the the guys that remembered the refreshments
all up i'm very happy and pumped for some better wind for next time (2 weeks, start is at 10:00am)
