I've thought about the 1125, but it's too wide for my liking. I really enjoy carving chop so speed isn't that essential but it's nice to blast every now and again, however I can use my 800/400 combo for that.

I'm a proficient kite foiler, main wing is Moses 800/400 combo, boosting and going fast, this is my second foil set for winging.

Anyone else in my weight range using any of these combos?

I'm surprised you not considering the v1 hs1550 in any of these combos this is my favourite and im 112kg
those combos are hard to decide definitely a tuff question if your able to demo all of these wings maybe that's a good start good luck with your decisions

I believe the 1550 v1 doesn't have a good top end speed (from what I've read), and mostly for winging in harbour chop, speed is fun, but for surfing and carving on a wave that doesn't really matter that much

Spot on, the V1 carves swell/waves beautifully, especially with the cut down 232 tail but is a slug with little glide compared to V2 version. The V2 turns almost as well if you clip the ends about 20mm but you lose a bit of acceleration out of turns and a tiny bit of stability. I still believe the 1250 would be better if you are only going out in 15+ knots.

Thanks Hilly, your comments are noted about the 1250. In Sydney the wind is really sketchy and 15knots means 10-20 with all the gusts.

I think I would probably find a use for both at my weight.

Some great points there out of interest what speeds are you pushing the 1125 As my problems start when hitting 22kts and the wing tip dips as the amount of yaw and roll it has from the mast flex if I was just cruzen around it's fine or going upwind is fine but off the breeze sending it when it's sailed flat it does what it wants

Do you have A+ or previous version mast, and what length, please?

The 1850 is a great foil for light wind days but the 1550 is not too far off. I'm only 70 kgs so at your weight I would consider the 1850 if you anticipate much light wind foiling.

All the hype about the 925 is deserved, just a couple of boat sessions and one wing day and it has become a favorite.

What about for prone at your weight?

So I bought the HS1250 and 1550v2, 85cm mast/60-fuse/A+/232v2, and there's rumor's of a HA725 in the pipeline. I'll dial these in first and then decide on a HA wing.

Any advice for shimming for a 95-100kg rider?

I know the A+ system stabilizer is -1 by default, so I might try that first before shimming. My other foil brand required the mast at the front of the box, so I assume it will be the same for Armie.

I'm on a 56L 5'4 wing board btw

Try all shims that's the best way to dial in but-1 is probably the best starting point

Probably 20-mph and up I would go for the 925, but keep in mind it is new to me and I'm still trying to get competent at winging. I still have some challenging days.

Same here. Have had 25-30ish sessions on the wing, able to jibe, tack toeside, learning first "tricks" duck jibe, 360, etc, but feel I'm not good yet at pumping up and getting on foil in light(er) wings, so "intermediate" at best. But very curious about the 925 and I think I'm gona pick it up too, and have it alongside 1550v2 and 1250.

Update: I got the HS1550v2 and HS1250, and have ordered a HS1050 for kiting.

I use the 1550 no shim on my 110L board in < 18 knots

Mostly with the 232 stabiliser, I have the v-tail, but at my weight wind has to be very strong, but will try it with the 1250 one day soon.

I've used the 1250 a lot kiting (1m pocket board), nice and carvey but a bit big for kiting tbh, and jumping bit too much pressure on legs when landing with such a big foil, hopefully the 1050 will be better for that.

I have to put mast at front of box on all boards.

Still getting use to the foils, but had a few good sessions on both of them.

Once I dial these in then I might demo the 925 or 725 for kiting, but at my weight, I have to say I'm very happy with the current setup.

I'm 78kg dry, using a 90L Quatro and a 5m F-One strike (that is completely bagged out) and get the 1550v2 up in 10-12 knots.
At that point it's more skill than foil characteristics whether you get it up or not, imo.
