Numbers wore off my carbon boom.
I marked with white paint pen and dogy clear coat, still came off.
Tried again, came off. Cant see anyway as I need new glasses and not leaving beach so I’ve been setting boom wherever it lands now.
And my ezzys are all seeming like they need much less outhaul these days, not sure why.

Loving it allready. I think it has already improved my sailing trying to get a practice slalom run. Stacked a big gybe, I'll get it next time!
For gybes to register do they have to be an alpha, like within 50m gate or can be wider for this competition?

Nice feature for the user to be able to change colour, but I do like looking at other peoples tracks with default colours as I know straight away what I'm looking at when I see red (speed) blue (nauti) and so on.

Most importantly it’s clear that it’s well supported still.
GPSTC has been great for me getting into sailing. I wouldn’t have pushed if it wasn’t for the possibility of winning a sheep station 😁

I’m happy with my Ion booster x. For a few years I wasn’t, as it would ride up around my ears. But then I got a Liberty harness which stays down almost like a seat, so when I tried the Ion again (which i think is very similar to NP high hook vest) it felt great as it was held down by the strap under harness hook, no longer slipping up my skinny torso.

if I was always sailing well powered and proper stance hanging in harness, waist harness would still work for me, but often sailing light wind sub planing waist harness (and whatever jacket) rides up before hanging out on it.

I always use it now. Spare line in the side pockets, camel back in the back even though I never use it I think good to have.
Muesli bars in the front for energy to get home again. They taste better if been catapult mooshed and mixed with salt water.

I’ve had a couple of rib hits where an impact vest might have helped with side padding.

Vest lasting well.

I use with Ezzy's, yep, gotta thread each time. It's a bit of a task as the ratchet has to unclick all the way to start again each time and no matter how clean I get the rope ends, they still struggle sometimes to go through cleat hole in extension, especially hole 'b'.
I use with different brands too, I think my old Loft has different orientation but still works with XT. Often my brain gets fried trying to remember different threading for different orientations when the fan turns on and pressures on on the beach.

Ezzy Lion's are not too hard to downhaul, either mine are getting older and harder or I'm getting older and softer. I used to do no worries without XT, but now struggle. I need more practice, downhaul training 💪

There were some infected petrels here at Hawks Nest. The dog has sniffed a few wings and things on the beach and is still kicking.
Some years the beach is a black blanket of dying mutton bird as they get tired on migration and retire.

I’ve got a 19 muf I use at budgy. It goes ok in narrow tail boards. Biggest problem I have with it is fitting to the board nice enough to avoid weed moustache (weed catching under front edge where it meets board).
So this fillet idea is great. I’d love to do this to it.
I also have a Fangy 18 that goes good. It’s just all smiles fitting that. Set and forget, it’s never catching weed.

Other than my head with these aliens landing, no spinouts yet. I usually get heaps of spinout at Jimmys in nor easters. See how these boards go with it come summer. I've been sailing them in clean west wind so far, onshore wind. Nor easters are offshore, patchy.
