It looks like you have a great spot! Had the privelege to foil it this summer in flatwater with our mutual friend MProject04 but no waves unfortunately! Looks like you could get a nice downwind run further out and then get more critical turns closer to shore. When will you start launching some Estonian downwinders?!

We have 2 guys who have done 40+ km parawing runs here.

I personally find riding in the bay (with a wing) much more interesting. We have a couple of pretty decent wave spots and one of them does not need too big conditions to develop waves like in this clip, starting from 1 minute. Hope you'll have more luck with the wind when you come to visit next time.

@WindyBear, keep doing the videos, especially the ones facing forward - at least I find these super helpful for spotting the exact moment when I make a wrong decision and choose a wrong path or slow down to a point where it would be too demanding to use merely pumping to build up the speed again. This clip is not with a PW, but could well be. Had to use the wing once to top up the speed.

I have tried plenty of different combos now, and while using a high aspect small stabiliser gives a more effortless ride (just make a few light taps every now and then), I very much prefer using a smaller surfier stabiliser, to avoid the locked in feeling, which would then make it easier to initiate the slight direction changes at faster speeds.

If you sail in deep enough water for a straight fin, get a carbon fin. Yes you need a 3-4 cammed sail with low foot for speed.

Nothing wrong with g10 fins for recreational use. I have a 32 cm g10 fin here, and a no cam sail. Would have wanted a smaller ca 95 litres board (instead of the 116 L):

A 70 litres KT Drifter 5 Pro Carbon is pretty close to what you are describing. Give it a try and see if you can find anything that you don't like.

Indeed, MFC K300 quad fins are fire! With a 86 litres quad I have been using 14 cm centers, 9 cm sides.

Great footage, and nice calm and smooth and careful riding. I would suggest to practice more active riding, doing lots of silly turns and what not, and perhaps to add some speed as well. Making rapid turns and deliberately breaching the wing tips teaches you a lot about how the foil behaves in different conditions. Riding high on mast in such chaotic water conditions (like you have there) involves having a quick reaction time and being ready to make super quick adjustments every now and then. Easier to learn on flat water and in spots where there are clean ground swell lines instead of irregular wind chop.

By making turns I did not necessarily mean making manoeuvres or turning around, just don't settle on riding in a straight line too often, practice some silly wiggles whenever you can. Something like:
