At the end of last year we told the story in Sail-World Cruising about the Swiss yacht which was hit by one cargo ship off the Atlantic coast of the USA and then rescued by another. Now the skipper has come forward to tell their amazing story of survival against all odds. Monnerat Cedric, 31, a Swiss boat builder, and Josiane Guillemette, 25, who had never been to sea before, were sailing south from Cape May to St Martin in the Caribbean on Cedric's yacht Mea, when they collided with a ship in the dark.
