Skandia Sail for Gold 2011 day five was the final day for three of the classes and with medals on the line there was a significant amount of tension on the Paralympic race course. Weather conditions proceeded to hound the sailors with an easy start in just five to six knots of wind and then turning savage as a squall crossed the course in the afternoon, bringing gusts up to 20 knots and eventually a cold, hard rain.
