With the final rounds, five and six on the near horizon, the fight for points is now deadly serious in the countdown to the 2010 Australian Offshore Superboat Championship. Round five, Geelong and Round six, Sandringham wraps the titles for this season and in several classes the final result will go down to the wire. Defending Class 1 champions, Tom Barry-Cotter (driver) and Pal Virik Nilsen (throttles) will be hard pressed to retain their crown after a poor start to the season with mechanical problems plaguing their supercharged catamaran 'Mustang.'
