Two high speed crashes, but injury avoided at Redcliffe Offshore

It was a dramatic fourth round as the Offshore Superboat Championships took on the waters of Moreton Bay, Redcliffe, last weekend with two boats sustaining high speed roll-overs. 'Trojan Steel', the Class 1 Melbourne entry, was the first to go, losing control after hitting wash on the opening lap. It was heading into the final lap that the Supercat Outboard entry, 'Saracen', struck similar problems, its stern digging in and the boat spinning out and going over. Both crews, Simon Isherwood and Colin Craven, aboard 'Trojan Steel' and Antony De Fina and Nigel Craven (son of Colin) in 'Saracen' escaped ...
