Loft Sails have opened their arms wide and welcomed Patrik Diethelm (Patrik / Loft) as a their new international team rider for the next racing season. Diethelm will be bringing his years of experience and innovative ideas to the already legendary international team.

Loft Sails have stormed the 2011 PWA podium with slalom racer Ben Van Der Steen (Starboard / Loft / Mystic) finishing in third and the rest of the team ranking highly, allowing Loft to finish in third place on the PWA slalom sail constructor ranking.

Monty Spindler founded Loft Sails in 1998 after designing for NeilPryde, North Sails and finally A.R.T where his designs achieved many speed records. Loft has a philosophy of maximizing the wind range whilst minimizing the number of sail lines. The Loft team believes with Diethelm's help they will be able to make an already exceptional sail even faster.
