Wahine...sorry to advise but you are not in a unique situation...there are dozens of single women who are into kitesurfing and other water sports.

Don't you know when you just suck it up and get on with your life then the man of your dreams will just 'appear' when you least expect it.

you also have to remember that no one else can make you happy....you have to do that for yourself even when you are in a relationship.

if your home town really is as small as you say then what have you got to loose by some online stalking oh I mean dating

I think you have misunderstood my message Fingerbone. My problem is not finding a man. There is no shortage of men out there if I am happy to settle for a relationship purely based on shallow, superficial attraction. But I am hoping to find someone who shares my interests and values as well as hot physical chemistry. But thanks for your help - at least I can cross you off my list

No luck on SB - everyone seems convinced I am really a 400 kg hairy guy called Bubba, but WA seems to be the promised land

Meanwhile, I think being single is definitely the go. Better that than having to give up the things I love
