NO aches and pains or hair loss here and best of all no erectile dysfunction...and great flexibility!!! Can run rings around girls half my age and younger. Stay young by being young, they say sex is the best exercise but that maybe hard for you under the circumstances. Maybe you should see a Doc at least for the chest pain.

Ethanol is the answer. Make sure it is well fitered!

As a fifty four year old I am in very good shape, surprisingly so as I have had more than a few operations through Rugby.

I am convinced my good health is due to two reasons, fitness and good diet.

My father was very active as am I so it is easy for me. If you do not use your legs you will lose the use of them. The same goes for every other organ including your brain.

Diet is critical. Read Sandra Cabot's Liver Cleansing Diet. I have followed the principles for quite a while. Your energy levels will go through the roof. It is quite difficult to do if you have kids in the house but well worth the effort.

My only major health issue is sun damage. See my new post.

This is one of the most interesting threads I've seen for a while. I have been reading but have chosen not to post as I was curious to hear from the older wiser of you. Thanks to all who have posted so far.

Im 30 and have thrashed my body - (PHYSICALLY)

Through my early and mid teens I was into sailing dingy's and was always holding the sheet putting strain on my back.
I loved footy and rough sports.
Surfing is my real passion . I would jump off the end of Snapper Rocks in a massive swell and intentionally paddle against the sweep for as long as possible just to see how far I could go. I have had some major wipeouts in my time resulting in ongoing chairo treatment.

In my mid teans I started a love with alchohol and weed and spent a good few years finding the limits.

I have also worked my ass of for 4 years on nightshift in an engineering trade and was on the edge of breaking into some chronic fatigue @ 25.

I now notice that it is starting to take a little longer for me to warm up before excercise and a few extra creaks and craks here and there.
Im 30 and my WII fit age is 32 lol.

My mother got a numerological reading done for me for my 30th and I was alarmed what showed up both mentally and phyically. I had never met the woman who did the reading and I am not willing to trust everything that was said , however somethings add up.

WOuld I change how I have treated my self????

Not by much. sure I have pushed the limits but I am still strong. I dont smoke . Mentally , spiritually and physically I would concider myself superior so most .
I still love to charge and my motto has always been "Go hard or go home"!

One of the most important things I think is that I am as happy as a pig in $hit. Life is an amazing experience and if I passed away tomorrow I would die a very happy and content man.
If you look after your soul life is beautiful! However there is a responsibility to those that you love and those that love you and that is to look after your self.

You have me on a roll now! I am going to start a fat person thread. I will not implicate you!

The human body is a lot like a tree, as it develops it grows stronger, stress fractures shaping it's ultimate form and ability to do stuff!

I see a sea of blobs eating into our tax dollars, those roly poly fat faced girls, and blokes, who are tomorrows heath crisis. If you think that tobacco and asbestos has had an impact talk to me in twenty five years about the impact of gluttony,

On the rare occasion that I have to mix with humanity and go shopping I see white guts hanging out that would have been anathema to my era.

Stomach bands, staples, liposuction, vein replacement, joint replacement, heart operations, organ replacements....................

ALL BECAUSE THE ****ERS ATE MORE THAN THEY NEEDED TO EAT and did NO exercise.

I am convinced that 80% of the population would cease to walk if they were given the chance!

Actually there's only one problem with aging ... running out of time. At 53 I've probably got 20-30 years of serious fun left.

Things that I take up now I'll only get really good at by the time they put me in a box.

The chances of me getting it on with the glorious hot babes I see on the beach are virtually non-existent (unless I go to rent-a-babe and that wouldn't be the same.)

Quick! Got have more fun now! Need more toys!

Apart form running out of time there is another problem with ageing and that is running out of money BEFORE you run out of time.

At 59 I am able to come to terms with diminished physical capabilities.

Diminished sexual stamina is a bit annoying because half the fun is being able to satisfy your lover. Technique and technology usually save the day (or night).

What really annoys me are the little warts and ceratosies that keep appearing in my skin.

As a kid I did get sunburnt at least six times which statistically makes me a prime candidate for skin cancer. I don't buy short sleeved shirts anymore and I almost run from shade to shade these days.

If there was one thing I could wind back in my life it would be sun exposure.
