Ho Ho Ho loook at this little classic bit of a Seabreeze gem, no matter where you go you are garented to find a bit of agro here!
So what is the real deal here? is it naming the spots? is it the euro trash camping in the carpark? is it short tackers? or is it that in the summer alot of guys arrive who are better riders than you are and it makes you unhappy?
well the real deal is you guys are lucky to have sch amazing spots and you should be making the most of it! any guy who has half a brain can see that between 12-4 the pond will be packed and if you dont like it then dont go in at the "peak time". it doesnt get dark till 7-8 so the wind will still be there birthday boy.
We also hate euro junk, you get them everywhere so get used to it.
and i wouldnt call safety bay a secret spot, i think people know about it so you can stop worrying about that.
anyway im pretty busy looking for new cooler spots, ive found one in the bottom of africa and ive heard its pretty windy, also in egypt as i think its kicking off and a little known spot in brazil which i think gets a bit of wind aswell! but dont tell anyone!
Anyway...euro party at the pond! boom
haha neck up ya parrot.
problems are you wa surf clowns launching n landing on that grass area, other euro kooks doing it on the grass at the main road right near the power lines, busy road and trees. one of your kook mates already went flying into the side of a car in that carpark.
stupid short tackers that just snake and **** up the line up, cut infront of you then ride so ****ing slow you cant get enough speed to do a trick behind them.
stupid douches that just turn around smack in the middle of the pond without looking behind them and completely ruining someone lining up for a trick, the amount of times ive been half way through something to come out of a rotation and see some kook swining his kite towards mine forcing me to bail and pull my kite down to miss his is a ****ing joke.
then all those damn tourist dicks trying to learn / teach in the pond section is the worst, and you guys at the school should really start informing your traveling pole smoker buddies that they belong on the upwind side of the spit and to stop teaching in the pond section.
I'm yet to see these better riders you speak of too, all i seen so far are a bunch of lunch time merchants using fruit loops and doing kite twirls that are weak as piss. there has been one or two "good" riders there though but not many has come through that have been worth watching.
no one said safety bay is a secret spot but that doesn't mean we need it blatantly advertised over and over again so that more and more nut sacks show up and ruin the goodness down there.
the problem that truly lies here is that safety bay has already been stupidly close to being banned as it is and having all these ****ing blow ins come in and not even have any regard for the local rules set in place to keep the spot open and operating, just go out and do what they want when they want and not having a care in the world is going to get the spot banned. then what? you guys all **** off over to africa and start the process over there while we are stuck here with one less spot to ride. nah mate doesnt work like that.
and lastly to suggest the locals should go down later to miss crowds is just plain stupid, your saying that because there is such a influx of tourists that we should stay out of our local spot to avoid the crowding and come down at a later time is just a bit of a joke really.
