Perhaps we need legislation so that all probationary kiters wear a bib with a bright red P on it. Sure you kiters can manage wearing something over the top of your wet suits...
Will be just like on the roads.
Oh, hang on, P platers have as much right to use any road as any experienced driver dont' they...
Wow, how could i have been so silly to think an advanced driver has more rights than them.
Then again maybe P platers should only be allowed to drive on roads us experienced drivers don't deem as suited to our skills, levels of prowess cause there isn't another like it anywhere.
Hope nobody else on here thinks like me...

**** off back to your pole smoking forum please .

hahaha... a troll for sure. But i'll feed him.

In some states P platers have a curfew. P platers have speed restrictions, have restrictions on the number of passengers they are allowed. Sheesh... they are not allowed V8 engines or any thing with forced induction.

YEP! they have the same rights!

This doesnt apply in WA, with often catastrophic results, perhaps the same attitude follows through into WA kiting?

BTW putting my 2 cents in.
I have only occassionally kited the Pond, its too ego-filled for my cruising style, but it is not elitist to have beginners avoid kiting there.

It is primarily a safety issue for the onshore/downwind geography- if you are not able to control your kite 99% of the time, you are risking the safety of yourself, other water users, general public and local residents.

This doesnt apply to windsurfers as out of control beginner rigs dont float downwind in the air (generally).

I cant comment on the mucking up of the circuit and freestyle heros tricks because I havent kited there when there was more than 5 of us in total

circuit works simply by riding right foot forward., doing a trick near the end of the spit, riding out to the weed bank turning around, coming in doing a trick against the bank going into the shallows, turning around and heading back towards the point for the trick right foot forward again. all you do is try space it out so you got about 50 - 80m between the riders and if everyone turns at the weedbank instead of being ****ing wankers and turning RIGHT IN THE POINT where us more goofy footed orientated riders do our tricks then the circuit flow doesnt get ****ed up.
