that is true but the whole gravity games thing is for tv not for perth tourism or anything like that. they picked perth because they can run wake tow in surfing and kite all in one state. woodies woodies woodies

You have tremendous insight man, the event is for the customer and if TV is the customer, then they will decide what is best for them.

IMO opinion it really is important for the sport here in WA whether it is at Woodies, Pt. Walter or Cott. or Scarb., Gnarloo any other of the thousands of beautiful places here in WA. But everyone knows Cott., it is the center of WA, and a great place to ride. It should happen at Cott., but big time.........then there would be an even better movie for the customer.

And there is something to do while waiting for the wind........

FOAM PARTY & KITING makes for a good movie.....don't care really, but lets get on with it...time is a ticking.

Have just read through this and by gummy its dissapointing.

we have thousands of kms of unspoilt coast with perfect conditions for kiting with waves flat water chop etc etc whatever the connsiure kiter desires and a competition broadcast worldwide is going to no not gnarloo, no not down south no not even cottesloe but herrisson island.

i understand a lot of guys have put the "hard yards" in to find a more suitable venue and have only been met with resistance from councils and good on you for doing that.....but we've got to have this comp at the beach at least..

I vote cott or woodies.
Blimey if they'll let a band like the beach boys play there why wont they let a few kiters loose.
