Here we go...read earlier post. Dave best to ignore trust me. Waveslave and myself don't need to worry as yet about councils stopping kiting in certain areas. it's a real scenario for you guys...don't bite, let it go.

Now that's a better marketing slogan for WAKSA. ^^^
<WAKSA are hardcore locals>
Yeah, it has a nice ring to it.
It's better than 'WAKSA saves beaches'.
Cause they never have and never will.
WAKSA just goes into damage-control after the fact, after some tourist tomahawks a beachgoer.
And then WAKSA willingly surrenders more real estate.
and on and on it goes.
lol.

This two morons have no respect for anything. But than, I myself kite at Peli Pt and ride in the nature reserve sometimes. Behind the yellow bows.
Why? Everyone else does.

I mean, we go to Bali and it says "Death penalty for drugs" on arrival, yet a guy arrested yesterday.

Given that a lot of tourists will pay heaps to get here this season, we can expect more of this.

This is why I think it should start on the airports. But how to implement? Duno.

Not true mate
Cott is open to kite as is Mullaloo as is Floreat - restrictions yes but we can still kite there.
Without our WAKSA locals submitting time and energy into negotiations with council and others these places would be no kite zones.

I hope that the Metro rat race doesn't impinge on your patch waveslave, i dare say it will one day but restrictions, rules bans etc are a way of life for us city folk not only with kites but life in general...... the way of the sh!tty city i guess.

I'm grateful to WAKSA for their pro-active approach high level of organisation (have you seen this years events?) and i'll be renewing my membership for as long as i live metro and kite.

I don't understand fully your beef with WAKSA

waves opinions should be read the same as everyones, i don't agree with all his antics but hes not the only person whos unhappy with some of waksa's methods,
when you actually talk face to face about your concerns they listen, learn and talk back, i'm a local mullaz flyer and have eventually excepted our zone, this was not a thread to pimp or bag anybody, i think we've got the outcome i desired, these guys are known in the metro area and do regular downwinders. enter the self-policeing kiters.

If they have been told nicely, and just plain ignore you, please get out your mobile and take a nice closeup of the offenders. Anyone with a selfish, complete disregard for beach access, Id like to see their face.

Any reckless idiots who fail to ignore regulations that are posted everywhere wont be getting a launch or land from me, wont get a welcoming smile and wont get their gear rescued. Make sure you bring your pump cause you wont be using mine.

Local kiters and WAKSA fought long & hard to keep access open.

Don't be fooled by the WAKSA hype. ^^^
They like to make you believe that they actually save beaches.
lol.
They don't.
All they have succeeded in doing in the past is give away precious beach real estate.
When the natives get angry,
waska goes belly-up, rolls over and plays dead.
The people who really care about kite beaches are the hard-core locals.
Committed locals will always look after their own patch.
Remain true to the tribe.
And lastly,
Ban the word 'BAN'.
The only crew who seem to use this word is WAKSA.

let us all in on what u r doing to stop "bans" waveslave as i dont belong to any tribe and i dont own any beach real estate either
