being a torch(naish) rider since they first came out what exacty is the problem with the occtopus inflation system ? i haven`t seen any failures of this system in any of my kites for five years or any on the beach. i have how ever seen lots of normal valve failures but that hasn`t been only on naish and not restricted to one pumps
well for a start its a pain in the arse when you are glueing your strut deflate vavles on, and I guess they started to leak becase after glueing back on every valve on the kite (eventually)I had induced a leak somwhere. Or maybee it was just the valves. Never did find it - Just got sick of looking, reapplying plumbers tape etc. And the fact that they were octopus bladders made them too expensive to replace. And it doesn't happen to all kites. I have never had a cab leak and I owned one for twice as long as my naish. (off topic)
