^ agreed RPM, but that doesn't mean every kite is perfectly robust either, although I am fairly new at kiting I have heard and seen a number of kites that have inherent weaknesses that won't show up until the kite is a few months or more old, and they are both on newbies/kooks and very experienced riders who know what they are doing, both on the water and looking after their kit.

Feeback from someone like HTL could highlight manufacturers that are doing it on the cheap, or manufacturers/kites that are generally of a high standard but have a tendency to fail at a certain critical point.

I won't brand bash as my experience is quite limited and narrow but it would be an interesting exercise if a kite repairer were willing to offer feedback from their POV.
