dude hooning around on his jetski in middle of our teaching zone and within 50m of the beach got pulled up by water police yesterday... was a good laugh for us watching on the beach getting ready for the days first lesson.

Yay, finally they get caught!

As for the boganism thread, I agree from a little in column A and a little in column B.

Remember, inciting hate only increases the hate

But hey I don't have to live in a city, so I may be naive!

Teach them to kite or windsurf, and then they'll spend their car money on that, thus changing a problem into a solution (apart from less water space) - you guys really need to invent a space saving (when deployed) kiting arrangement - goodluck

For the record again

it is not a 'boganism thread" I AM a bogan ! (tho I just don't get the shiny plasticy cars ,the alcopops and the sitting in the gutter all day watching cars go past with your mates and leaving your **** lying all over the place . I do enjoy my uggies tho[;) but not in the middle of summer ,nor am I into music that gives the boom boom effect as you drive around the place and shakes your car to pieces])

The issue is the location of events (bogan invasion ) that have nothing to do with THE BEACH restricting peoples access to THE BEACH and the surrounding PARkLANDS who want to go for things like a swim or a picnic or a kitesurf (dare i say it). These events would be better placed at somewhere like our showgrounds that have recently had a large amount of money spent on them and the facilities for them yet are rarely used.

I think you should ensure you have an understanding of the point Lach was making before you enter attack mode. The point was that these events, ie music festival, are held at a site that restricts the public's access to the beach. They themselves could as easily have organised their event at any number of venues without inconveniencing others who actually wish to make use of the beach.
Or perhaps you did understand that & your attitude stands
