Laurie,

Having an "events" menu at the top would be good, maybe after forums, followed by news.

Personally I don't use the other options often, but it would be good to get info out about events more, it gets us all out on the water more.

Keep up the good work,

Ian.

For sure .. short on menu space, but 'cameras' link will soon be removed (as WA only), which will make room ...

Currently "Events" is under the News menu, and Events on the right are now highlighted with red/green when the event is in the next day or three.

Lookin good so far. Funny it's almost hard to get used to a simple look after being bombarded with an overload of graphic stuff everywhere else haha.....

I do have one thought, when looking at replies, for my eyes there isn't a clear cut obvious break between replies. Im on an ipad. I seem to skim over replies that i thought were part of another one. Wonder if possibly adding a slightly darker color to the header of a reply would help.

I agree with what someone else posted on here having regional sections great idea (maybe even international to for us non locals..haha.)

Hope that makes sense, and it might just be me.

I like the new look so far.

Thanks so much for all the work and being open to everyone's ideas and input.

Reviewed, and agreed , colours have been darkened a little to highlight alternating topics/replies .. should be better...

Yes, keen on regional sections, but got some ideas to implement about navigating, as currently it's not easy enough to navigate the different sub forums, so most people hang out it general. Once the navigation tweak is done, more sub forums can be added...

Oh .. it now has themed forums (for those with wide screens), which look great! (Hope you agree )

The "Surfing" submenu was removed, so that Surfing/Longboarding/SUP are all on the primary menu.

Some folks may well consider the placing of Longboarding vertically higher than SUP to be a major foul.

To explain, we had a meeting between over 27 people, including contributions from the state associations, surfing professional organisations, pro riders, pyschologists, and a little old lady who lives up the street.

After 6 hours of talking, screaming, shouting, tears and silent periods, the committee presented me with the final order for the Forums menu, which went from:

Surfing [ Shortboards/Longboards/SUP]
Stand Up Paddle

To:

Surfing [no sub menu]
Longboarding
Stand Up Paddle

Controversial stuff.

The font might be a bit fine and small for my fading eyesight though.

?? Should be the same font as before, or are you referring to the iphone/android? .. can you give me more detail on how it's shrunk .. have you fiddled with the browser zoom? If so, pressing control-zero might reset it..

Wow today's changes look good .

It's a IFAD .

With the old/ existing system , I tend to zoom up a tad with the two finger zoomiod motion .

Maybe just need new prescription for specks !

But today no problem !!! Cool bananas .

what i find very helpful on other sites is a not just the name of the poster on each thread but something like - started by paddlepop on 25/09/12 -

with the sometimes cryptic titles people use i find myself forgetting what i've already seen and wasting time by going back to it

actually one of my favourite forums goes one better and must have this feature generated automatically as it says

posted today by soandso at 6.30 am

posted yesterday at soandso at 6.30am

them after that says posted by soandso on 25th Sept 2012

this sort of info is great when you don't log on every day (not that i would ever do that with the Breeze)
