I worked with an older guy who was into surfing when it was logs and woodies and if you passed a car loaded up with boards on the highway you stopped, shared surfing spots and stories and the whole thing was a big adventure.
You were treated like an outcast but you didn't give a s**t cause you were having way too much fun.
I always envied this guy, but then I found sup and lived through a similar thing.
We have shared the dawn of a new sport and culture and I reckon it's a rare and special thing. It would be a shame if we've been too busy competing with each other, bitching on the forum or playing games to notice.
I for one have been stoked to read peoples posts, meet breezers and other like minded sup tragics and have loved every minute.
