I've been refraining from commenting, but hey, what the heck. Time to continue to lower the tone of the forum!

On the gay stakes, can I ask whether rugby players require a little lube so that four guys can push 3 guys' heads up 2 guys arses?

I'll retire for a little while now, so u should save your abuse for later.

lol now that was funny

yeah good call will pay that. but playing soccer with your hands while wearing your little sisters shorts and gettin points for not being able to shot straight with a ball you stole off rugby thats just gay!!

Is that the best you got, pretty gay to me

More to the point I think the argument has been dragged down to a level of homophobic, juvenile inanity so any response is about as worthy as the challenge warranted. I mean seriously, calling everything gay is so 2008.

What a great rainy weekend for sport. So far i've watched:

Kelly Vs Mick, Danny Ching vs Jamie and Travis.

Now for the League Grand final while I cook a Lamb Roast, check the breze and drink a beer or 4.

Born in Victoria and played GayFL until I moved to QLD at 12 from under 5's onwards. Played League and Union all through high school. Union best to play, League the best to watch. AFL..... I honestly can't even sit through a whole game..... Bores me to death, I prefer to watch soccer.

I just hate the no offside thing, how can their be strategy when you can you can just kick it as far as you can to someone at the other end of the field?? Pointless. Flamie suit well and truly buttoned up.

You can take the boy out of the Western Suburbs but not the Western Suburbs out of the boy

Perhaps that makes me qualified to comment.

played league as a young'n much to my mans digust. i remember coming home as 7 year old telling dad i just played my first game of league, allhe said was- your playing the wrong game

played some union in my early 20's, yep, best game to play, not so good to watch, but there is something about going to a big test match

cannot agree with cmc, after watching a lions v i forget, i haven't watch any full game of league live or on tv since. maybe the channel nine commentry team is responsible for that

honestly, i used to ooze league

I don't give a sh#t what sport you want to support but I think the forum can do without the homophobia don't you? Jokes? Yeah real funny when people continually use certain words in a pejorative fashion. What's not a joke is dozens of kids topping themselves due to cyber bullying specifically relating to their sexual preference. Like I say, crap on a sport if you like, it can take care of itself. But leave the gay thing alone.

Just saw the highlights of the Thugby Final what a mark taken by the St George guy. At least no one has used the Stephanie Rice word which was originally used to describe the wood that was used to burn witches at the stake[}:)]
