Might not be that old Al, they made the H Van from 47 to 81, with very few changes. 1.9 litres of pure fun, front wheel drive and were said to handle really well due to low slung weight and front wheel drive. Uber cool in Europe, and much more usable space than the VW T1 Kombi/Bulli.

Yeah this ones rigged up as a coffee van for the latte set in west Leederville Perth, just thought it was a classic looking van

Its a stunner

Hey byf,yeah sometimes work gets in the way of a good time mate

I haven't been surfing or working lately due to a hip replacement operation,on the mend though,back to work next week but surfing maybe a bit longer

will keep pics coming hope ya get some waves soon

Faaark on the hip mate.

Glad your mending well. Sucks being out of the ocean for too long.

Onshore rubbish here. Typical for an RDO.

Thanks mate,nearly there gotta practice the pop up again now because you tend to drag the leg thats been operated on,same for knee Ops.Yeah typical mate when we're at work it's good surf,haha

Had one in the 70's had a 161 changed to 186 exact same as your picture rear window etc did a lot of miles crossed the Nullarbor plain and back it went to the NW surfing Bluff / Garaloo mate bought it and took her to Kununuara.

Cool mate,I had aHG sedan pretty good condition that was my surfing car and I had a 55 Chevy as well at the time.I try to have 2 cars if I can because I also have a love of old cars as well as surfing
