All right Bladez,

this friday you have no excuse, except maybe an exam, but look at the forecast, its kickass. 20kn southerly, 4 meter sea swell.

mothers milk

so unless you got my excuse, damn phys, you should be out there, and even if u do, test for 30 min and when u can leave out you go

haha yea I've been watching this southerly all week. I have an exam today but tomorrow is free for a sail :)

Not really upto sailing waves but I'll have some fun blasting around.

Where abouts do you sail poley?

collaroy and carparks for waves and then botany depending on the winds. all a bit of a gamble really. aslong as it's not west it's not to bad but if it is, perfect for a surf.

Where do you get out Bladez, the waves aren't as hard as you think as long as you can water start your pretty much right.

Man the southerly looks like it's going to change :/
But hopefully I can get out for abit first.

Most of the time I sail at durook park in cronulla, nice and easy blasting :P
I don't really have the gear for wave sailing and I succeed in completing a waterstart after about 10 tries. I'm working on it though.

So sore,

but bladez hope you got out just got back from collaroy and it was kicking. 20+ no lies, slight sloppy swell but hell good fun. Got out at 8 and there was noone out. no surfers, kiters nothing. and two hours later i'm rooted and my toes are still numb.

poley

i love my wettie

Least you still have your toes...

or toenails I should say :/
Apart from that little incident I had a pretty mad time. Wind was abit dodgy though, got up to around 30knots or something crazy which was too powerful for me a couple times.

haha I only lost one.

Probably should get some new straps because the plastic edge is starting to come through.

thats kinda tragic, but aslong as you didn't get any blood on the board its alright.

if u can't afford new straps just wrap your toes in strapping tape.

trust me its good and you get a free wax job on your toes.

hi poley the sailboarders sail in a ESE to S wind on the eastern side
all other directions we sail on the western side.
however if you like waves you do get a nice 2 meter swell breaking over the reef in a strong northely on the eastern side.
looks good for tommorrow 20-30 ENE mmm starting to feel very crook might have to have a sicky tom.

Thanks vando,

do you get much chop there. i've only raced yachts up that way so didn't take any real notice to it. it'll be off RQYS which i think is the next bay up bw wello & the airport right? just trying to get a background before organising regatta.

Poley it can get quite choppy in the bay depending on the wind strength what sort of regatta are you organising.

not like that, just trying to organise boats and stuff for the sail bris regatta. either a 49er or a tornado at the moment but it depends on availabiltiy and stuff. if all else fails i'll just go the RS-X if there's going to be anyone else up there competing on them.

thanks for the help
