I am planning to be there on Sunday. With the forecasted wind direction we may need to be sailing from near the pier but there is plenty of time for the forecast to change yet!

I haven't been able to get a wind monitor in place so I'll take an average between the peak gust readings @ Wonthaggi and Pound Creek.

Another great day at Inverloch. 20-25kts from the SW by 1pm. Was good to see so many people on the water. Although, seemed to be quite a bit of gear breakage from various people today...sails, booms and boards.

It was good to see B3, Cara and Croweman master the heavier conditions on Sunday.

I can confirm that the sandbar likes feasting on fins....I hit it not once but three times at speed....all good tho'

After a few close calls over the past season I now gybe well before the end of the sandbar..... means I miss about 1/2 the run but much less chance of damaging gear or myself.

Drift, which was you (on the water) yesterday? I briefly met you in the carpark I think.

Sounds like you guys had a great time yesterday, I was planing to join you but I thought the forcast looked like it was going to have to much west in it until late.

I ended up at ricketts South and had a bit of a wait until the wind kicked in.

Water starting with jelly fish sounds like fun. Third outing with the F2 105ltr. The morning was ordinary. The wind was 10 kts - 20 kts so I was sinking in the 10 kts and going from 0 - 22 kts in the 20kts. Spent a lot of time in the water. The afternoon was better. 20 - 25 kts. Set up the 5.5(was tempted to put up the 4.7) and got some good runs in. Need some expert help from you and Bondy as the board is still wanting to turn up wind on me. I think it is part stance and mast position and harness line length and position. Look froward to catching the Three Amigoes at Inverloch sometime soon

Seriously though, the conditions were good that day but I'm sure someone will come along and break it very soon..... But it was good to finally get a GPS and see a speed.
