PKRA - 2011 Hua Hin Kiteboard Qualifier set for tomorrow

Registration took place for the 2011 Hua Hin Kiteboard Qualifier in Hua Hin, Thailand this afternoon.

Despite the soggy weather that has been lingering in the region the past few days, a large number of participants came out to the beach to enroll for their chance to win a spot in the PKRA World Tour main event, which begins on Monday, March 14th.

Competitors from as far as Russia, Canada, Austria, Slovenia and Japan were amongst the several Thai native registrants.

A total of 4 wildcards for the men’s freestyle will be handed to the best male riders as well as 2 wildcards for the women’s freestyle. Only the top competitors will earn the opportunity of a lifetime to compete against the world’s finest professional kiteboarding freestyle athletes.

A late registration will occur tomorrow morning from 9:00am -11:00am at the event site for all those who still wish to participate in the qualifier event but were not able to register today.
