ARSA Kiteboarding Classic In Mackay

The Adrenaline Rush Sports Australia Kiteboarding Classic will be held on June 14th-16th in Mackay, Queensland.

The event is structured so that riders of all levels have the opportunity to compete in one of the countries premier Kiteboarding locations.

The event runs over the weekend and includes such events as Freestyle, Boarder X (course racing) and Downwind Dash for cash, and hosts the most insane wake winch park.

This Mackay Classic is unique because there is separate divisions for Pro riders and the everyday rider.  This event  promotes fun, and still has the competitive edge which makes it one of the best events in Australia.

How to get to Mackay

Mackay is situated on the Central coast of Queensland, approx 4 hrs drive south of Townsville. Mackay has a large airport facility with Flights direct from Brisbane and Sydney 7 days a week.

If you are flying, try considering Virgin Blue as they seem to be the most accepting of excess baggage.   Contact event organisers ARSA if you need to be collected from the airport.

Flights are generally between $85 - $185 one way from Brisbane or Sydney.

If you decide to drive from south, simply follow the main highway for a while until you hit Mackay!
