Cabrinha Recalls Control Bar Component

If you're riding a 2017 model Cabrinha Kite, or control bar, then it might be worth checking to see if you're using a recalled component called the 'Power Bracket'. This week Cabrinha went on record to say 'our bad', in regards to a metal stopper used on their 2017 control bars. With prolonged use, the metal stoppers have been wearing through the front line, and unfortunately, that front line is the one used when flagging to a safety!

Fear not Cabrinha riders, because your local dealer has the answer if you do find yourself with one of the recalled parts. Drop by and see them, and in most cases they will replace the part with a nylon stopper on the spot. It only takes a few minutes, and it might save you a very long swim, or worse - a lost kite!

Check out this PDF from Cabrinha on how to indentify whether the part needs replacing, and how to change it, if it does! Or, drop by your local store and have a chat with the staff.
