Nick Jacobsen jumps off Bransons Roof

The only thing better than meeting Sir Richard Branson himself, would be to boost off the roof of his very own island mansion on Necker Island. At least for Nick Jacobsen anyway!

During this years Mai Tai event on Necker Island, the private island in the British Virgin Islands owned by Richard Branson, several of the worlds best kiteboarders got together with some of the worlds business elite. The networking exercise has been going on for a few years now, and has resulted in more than a few good ideas involving kiters.

Somehow, Nick Jacobsen ended up on the island this year, and when a mate showed Branson the video of Jacobsen jumping off a crane a few years ago, Branson was all for the idea of him trying to jump off the roof of the house. The catch? That roof is on the top of the island, quite a long way from the beach.

Of course, this is Nick Jacobsen we’re talking about, so he made it with ease. Just don’t try this at home! Not that anyone else in the world has a home like this one…
