Yet another kitesurfing speed record set

With wind speeds up to 45 knots records were being smashed.   The small course was modified with a retaining wall at the end to keep sufficient water in due to the low tide.

The big news is that American Rob Douglas set a new world sailing speed record (still awaiting certification by the WSSRC) over 500 meters at 55.65 knots (103kmh)

Sebastien Cattelan was the new record holder with 55.49  (1st to 55 knots), and held the record for about an hour before Rob improved upon it.

3rd was Alex Caizergues with 54.93 (France)

Charlotte Consorti did 50.43 knots - first lady over 50 knots .
