Giant Fish larger than SUP - caught by SUP!

It's not every day a fish will haul you off your SUP and drag you under water, but that's what happened to this angler off the East Coast of Florida!

Hooking a Goliath Grouper while fishing from his stand up paddle board, Ben Chancey struggled with the fish through three occasions where it pulled him off the board. Luckily, he had it tethered to the board, and the board tethered to himself, so when he dropped the rod - he didn't lose the monster fish.

Being hauled into the water wasn't the problem once he'd reeled it in though, the dilemma was the fact that the fish was larger than his own board! Helped along by a fellow angler in a boat, they snapped a few pics and then released the big guy back into the water. While they didn't get a weight, this is certainly one of the largest fish ever caught by stand up paddlers in the world!
