Noosa Festival of Surfing is Back for its Biggest Year EVER!

The worlds largest surf festival is back in 2017, promising to be bigger than ever for 8 days of surfing bliss at First Point, Noosa.

Whether you're a stand up paddler, surfer, body surfer, longboarder or a dog. The Noosa Festival of Surfing is an incredible week of good vibes on the Sunshine Coast, at one of the most iconic breaks in Surfing. First Point Noosa, home of the dreamlike right hander.

This year all the favourites are back, like the bar that's actually ON the beach. That's right, on the sand, only meters from where you stand up in knee deep water and unstrap your leggy. There's live music, film festival, 25 divisions of surf and SUP contests, and of course the world famous Dog Surfing contest.

For SUP in 2017, there will be both Mens and Womens surfing comps, a specialty division for 10ft + longboards, and then some racing. Both a BOP and Endurance Race will be held, paddling around the Noosa National Park and back to a beach lined with spectators.

You really don't want to miss this one, and there's no excuses not to because it doesn't clash with any other major SUP events this year! (Cough, Merimbula Classic and WA SUP Week!!)
