The women's wave fleet grows in strength each year and the competition is particularly tough. This season Alonso defeated her opponents with her clean cutbacks and explosive aerials to earn her self a superb third place finish.

Alonso is famous for the way she tackles the waves, slashing them apart with her super-stylish top turns and bottom turns. With so much time spent in the world's greatest wave sailing spots, its no wonder why she is so spectacular to watch on the water.
