Traversa Back From Injury

Traversa Back From Injury

The crazy Frenchman returns to the water to do what he does best?

Following an injury plagued 2008 PWA season, 23 year old French wave and freestyle specialist, Thomas Traversa, is finally fully recuperated and back on the water.

Disaster initially struck for Traversa during freestyle competition at the Fuerteventura Grand Slam. Since the incident back in July, there's been numerous niggles and complications, however it would appear that all is now well.

Traversa's board sponsor, Tabou are obviously excited to have undoubtedly one of their most colourful riders back to full fitness, and training for the first event of the 2009 PWA season in Cabo Verde (14th-21st Feb). The Tabou website currently boasts a striking photo montage of Traversa ripping into mast high faces in Fuerteventura.

Looking typically unperturbed by his previous injury, these bold photos send a loud and clear message to the PWA's wave fleet. Thomas Traversa is back, and he no doubt means business.

Thomas Traversa is sponsored by Tabou boards and Gaastra sails.
