After complaining about the poor representation of kitesurfing on Fuel TV on cable I received this email today
can anyone add some extra info on who is behind this etc

I think its a great positive step for ktiesurfing froam an industry standpoint

Australia’s first 100% dedicated Kiteboarding program “KITELIFE” will air on Fuel TV commencing January 2009. A special four episode series will highlight the Australian Kiteboarding culture alongside some spectacular riding destinations. KITELIFE will also include some valuable trick tips, buyers guides and safety tip segments for those beginner or intermediate riders. There will be something for everyone!

KITELIFE will be broadcasting on Foxtels FUEL TV network during January and February, followed by the Foxtel AURORA channel in March. DVD distribution of the show will be through Kiteboarder magazine and selected retailers.

sik ones, just make sure they see somewhere windy(perth maybe), it will be great for people to see what kiteboarding is like in aus instead of small islands in the tropics. i just hope the 08/09 season is heaps heaps more windy than our last one

wakelife is pretty cool.... but if its the same crew.. are we ready to see a bunch of emo,s presenting kitesurfing???... maybe i,m just to old and grumpy.

aleast it,ll be better than Bondi rescue/Bondi network ratings.

Yes! go to foxtel.com.au choose the TV Guide and register your home account (you'll need your account number)

then you can search by show or keywords up to a week in advance and lock it in eddie.
it's awesome, use it all the time to record the wiggles for my son....

Vote one for rowdy he would be the coolest presenter by far!!! infact i would get pay tv just to be inspired by his words of wisdom go rowdy you go son..

Sorry, but IMO, the only people that want to "promote" the sport is industry and show offs.

I change my mind (sorry rowdy) but I think I should be the presenter I like to think I'm pretty well known in the kite scene especially Melbourne and have some really good skills. I like to think that I'm easy to like and good at making people laugh. I'm very open minded about all styles of kiteboarding while some may only cater for the the one style. If you vote for me all your wildest dreams will come true. So let my thoughts fester in your mind and vote "1" for HOOKWORM.

I just type crap on here, i could easily talk ppl up all day if i had to. anyone who has met me in real life would know that. hahaha.
p.s. i like all styles of kiting and everyone thats having fun and giving it a go. i just hate it when ppl claim crap, thiink they are ripping and need to let everyone know about it. it is at that point that i do my job and wake them up.

Channel 10 used to have Cactus Garden on sunday mornings which had a bit of kiting in nearly every episode, but no thats gone
