Troll or not, I quite enjoyed the thread anyway.

Good sport this Troll hunting!
It's painfully addictive like watching the Eurovision Song Contest.

We should have a vote on oceangirl, Troll or not Troll?

Maybe the thread title should have been "hooked, lined, and sinkered"

That'll teach us all for trying to be helpful!

I'm sure that there was somebody who got some good information out of the thread even if it was generally ignored by the instigator.

The stuff on spreader bars and the new harness's was interesting.

I guess this is the bit where I sheepishly wander in with me tail between me legs and ask, Anyone want a beer

I will be annoyed if it is a troll but as Elmo said, so long as someone got something out of the thread then I guess it was not a total waste of time.

I did! I need to look at a new harness and the thread chucked up some good points.

How the heck do you guys figure out who are trolls, do you spend heaps of time in lots of other windsurfing forums or what??

Anyway, my heart is on me sleeve and if anyone picks on any of you I will be there

Sorry chaps for heating up, I guess a nerve was touched at that point in time.

Be cool GT

Looks like I was sucked in as well hate it when you are trying to act humalely and compassionately and someone is sniggering in the background having a good laugh at you.

Though I must admit her last couple of posts started to sound suspect to me, so I stopped responding. But yes I believed her/him? in the early bits too

But as Elmo said there was some interesting points to come out of the discussion.

Now I am beginning to understand why people are on "Troll Watch", it's very annoying when you find out you were taken in

Word!

It's the classic 1% syndrome, 1% wrecks it for the honest 99% of real people.

so oceangirl you say your going to the other side because of safety resons ,better read this posted on local site- coastview.com.au A 46 year old man died from injuries sustained in a kite-surfing accident off Long Point on Monday.

The accident is the latest in a series of incidents around Australia in recent months. In September, two Kite surfers died in separate accidents at Peth and Airlie Beach (QLD).

It is believed that the Sandy Bay death would come as a shock to the local kite-surfing community; who have always demonstrated a high level of commitment to training and safety in the sport.
