The Open 60 O Canada is showing the fleet a clean pair of heels in the Auckland - Denerau, Fiji Race at the latest sked. She enjoys a lead of around 40nm over the 50fter Ran Tan II, with the Bakewell-White 52 Wired and Starlight Express a further 20nm back. Since the last sked, Wired and O Canada have made a big change of course to head east and pick up the SE trades, while Ran Tan II is sailing a more parallel course to the rhumb line.
